"Please read the entirety of this review. I think you will find a compelling case for why Paige Schulte is someone you should seriously consider as your realtor. In Spring 2025, we tried to sell our house in Gig Harbor using an agent with a national realty company. We thought that the “national visibility” and their website marketing techniques would make all the difference in contrast to a local realtor. The agent seemed capable, and she only made minor recommendations for preparing the house for sale. It was mostly moving furniture around. She also used general comps to determine the sale price of the home. Trying to sell the house during that spring and summer turned about to be very difficult (interest rates, an uncertain economy), and we had very few showings and no offers. However we found it a bit surprising that we had to be proactive in adjusting the price of the home in pursuit of a sale. We finally pulled the listing in late July, because of no interested buyers. I should also note that this agent did not live in Gig Harbor. We started the sales process again in March 2026, and this time we interviewed a couple of Gig Harbor realtors. Both seemed highly capable, but Paige was the easy choice. When we met, she’d already done her homework on the house’s size, sales history, and exactly the neighborhoods in Gig Harbor that were the competition for the home. That information was critical, and explained why we had little to no interest in the home the previous summer. It was simply priced too high when based on comps alone. Paige also recommended modest, but essential improvements that would help update and sell the house. In hindsight, she was much more astute about changes that would make a fundamental difference for a successful sale as compared to our previous realtor. We no longer lived in the home when we were preparing it for sale this year, and I was stunned at the enormous assistance that we had from Paige and her associate in prepping the home in just three weeks. Moreover, Paige monitored closely all of the feedback from potential buyers after we put the home on the market. And unlike the previous realtor, she had weekly open houses. All of this led me to realize that our previous realtor just viewed our home as just another in a portfolio of homes to sell. Her engagement was entirely passive. In contrast, Paige was actively involved in making sure that our home sold for the best price in a timely manner. In fact, there were even occasions when she referred to the home as “our house.” Now that it has sold, I appreciate more than ever all of her intuitions about the house, the Gig Harbor market, and what it takes to sell something in a challenging market. I would not hesitate for a moment to use her services (and wisdom) again if I were to buy or sell a home in Gig Harbor."
